I come from a Pilates teacher back ground. I always need to work a flexible schedule no matter what I do. Flexibility isn't enough when you have a family of 4 and a strong travel bug!! I also needed a business to fit my flexible schedule. This business is exactly that. So we decided to take our family with the business on a 3 month trip to Australia and South East Asia. I have to pinch myself that this is my reality now. A business that is truly flexible!!

Hi, I’m Teeshka. I’m Canadian and fortunate today to have a career that I can design around the creative activities I’m passionate about and the travel I love, while I run a portable, online business fostering learning and development. It wasn't always this way.
I had worked in training and adult education for over twenty years, and while I received great satisfaction empowering others in their learning and career journey, I'd put aside activities that I loved. I was driven, but not happy. These days I've taken back my life and the creative projects I love, like writing, art journaling, hosting local retro dance events for seniors, and of course, traveling. I’m grateful for the freedom to now design work around my life, rather than to squeeze my life around a work schedule.
And there's nothing better than working alongside a global community of motivated professionals who are demonstrating success in thriving businesses of their own while supporting learning and success in others. I'm so grateful to have found this solution to re-imagine work life and build a flourishing, portable business around a life that I love.

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: I started my career journey over 20 years ago as a consultant and trainer in the corporate world. Later I pivoted to leadership and executive roles in adult educational. Working long hours in those jobs made me both exhausted and restless. I could feel me losing my sense of joy and purpose in keeping up with roles that had more constraints than rewards, and not enough growth. I was looking for more alignment and purpose in my career, and I knew it had to start with me, my mindset, and my own personal development.
THE BOOKS THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS: I read widely and with abandon! I’ve always loved reading about unique thought leaders and outliers, and their approaches to science, business, the arts, and life in general, wondering what made their thinking, their life or career success so unique. From “The Pleasure of Finding Things Out” by Richard Feynman, to “Ask and It Is Given,” by Esther & Jerry Hicks, and countless others, they ignited my curiosity and inspired me to learn and grow. I started to apply new ideas and concepts I learned to improve my personal life, but still struggled to align these ideas in a successful career that would reward my efforts while valuing my time.
THE BUSINESS THAT WAS A BOOM: I stepped out of the workforce for awhile to provide care giving for my aging parents and needed a flexible income solution to work remotely around my family commitment. What I thought was a temporary need to adapt to my family circumstances, turned out to be a thriving business solution. I found my way to this business that I run today, representing award winning personal development training. Working online, I can take my business with me when I travel, and today I design my work schedule around interests that bring me joy: writing, painting and traveling...and those retro dance events! In my work I connect with an incredible team from Canada, the U.S., U.K., Australia and New Zealand. It’s an absolute delight to work alongside positive, purpose-driven professionals and be part of a community of individuals who support your success.
I so appreciate the journey that brought me here today. I’m thankful at this new stage in my life to have more freedom and control over my time, my focus and my financial goals. And today I know for sure how important it is to spend more time each day doing what we love.
